ISG Middle East delivered innovative workspace for Sweid & Sweid

Introduction

ISG Middle East has successfully completed an innovative workspace for Sweid & Sweid, the international award-winning real estate development firm. This cutting-edge office project reflects a forward-thinking approach to workplace design, focusing on purpose, people, and sustainability.

The project

In a significant achievement, ISG Middle East delivered a highly customized office environment that emphasizes agility and connectivity. The fit-out project for Sweid & Sweid’s new office at the 6 Falak by Sweid & Sweid building in Dubai Internet City involved the complete outfitting of two floors from shell and core. The design features include bespoke elements like steel staircases, organic timber finishes, and state-of-the-art audiovisual and IT infrastructure. The space also includes collaborative zones, meeting rooms, and flexible hot desks, all tailored to enhance the user experience.

A Collaborative, Inclusive Work Environment

Spanning over 4,000 square meters, the new office integrates a wide range of functional areas, including dining spaces, kitchens, lounge areas, breakout zones, and multifunctional meeting rooms. The open-plan layout with dedicated workstations fosters a collaborative and comfortable atmosphere, allowing for both team-based activities and seamless hosting of internal and external events.

Cutting-Edge Technology

The office’s meeting spaces are equipped with the latest smart TV and interactive whiteboard systems, supporting seamless virtual and hybrid meetings. These advanced technological features enable efficient collaboration, whether colleagues are meeting in person or connecting remotely.

Commitment to Sustainability

In line with Sweid & Sweid’s sustainability goals, the project was designed with environmental responsibility at its core. ISG Middle East worked towards achieving LEED Gold Certification, focusing on energy efficiency, daylight optimization, waste management, and sustainability best practices. This commitment to green design reflects the company’s dedication to creating sustainable, high-performance workplaces.

Design Highlights and Unique Features

The office design features a striking steel staircase that connects the two floors, adding a touch of architectural elegance. The layout, marked by an open, interconnected flow, balances modern aesthetics with functional workspaces. A carefully chosen color scheme, integrated lighting, and acoustic treatments further enhance the space’s design, creating an environment that is both visually appealing and acoustically optimized.

Overcoming Challenges and Meeting Deadlines

Despite challenges, ISG Middle East completed the project within a 40-week timeframe. Through effective collaboration and a solution-oriented approach, the team met all of the client’s specifications. A key milestone was the achievement of 1 million man-safe hours at the Sweid & Sweid building, highlighting ISG Middle East’s commitment to safety and excellence throughout the construction process.
