Our delivery dynamic approach
Agile and intelligent programming was an essential component of ISG’s delivery masterplan with a large number of technical spaces that are spread out across the vast 438-hectare Expo 2020 Dubai site. The museum quality spaces on each of the pavilions demanded exacting fit and finish standards from the team – all backed up with robust state-of-the-art technical infrastructure. The fast-track programme saw the extensive use off site fabrication to ensure quality and speed of component delivery and to help mitigate challenges associated with the COVID-19 disruption.
Delivering at Expo 2020 Dubai builds on ISG’s expertise in staging global events, including the London 2012 Olympic Games, where the company constructed the iconic Olympic Velodrome building and worked across every single one of the 120 event venues for both the Olympic and Paralympic Games. This successful track record delivering temporary infrastructure to support one of the most globally recognised sporting events proved instrumental in ISG’s appointment by the organisers of Expo 2020 Dubai.
